He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry B. Vaughn and Myrtle Pearl Vaughn (Roberts); and his siblings, Wilbur, Earl, Floyd, Lloyd, Elmer, Noel, Everett Vaughn and Mae Vaughn.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Vaughn (Reeves) of Cuba; his stepsons, Jim (Janice Reeves) of Marshfield, Alan (Susan Pinnell) of Charleston and David (Brenda Pinnell) of Cuba; his stepgrandchildren, Bobby (Cammie Pinnell), Jessica (DeAndre Kirtz), Rachel (Cameron Schweitzer), Brandon (Tricia Woods), Brittany (Michael O'Shaugnessy), Alexander Pinnell and Dominic (Kristin Pinnell); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Gideon, Evie, Onora, Mickey and Scarlett; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Bridgeman of Cuba, Johnny (Tiny Reeves) of Cuba and Clarence (Mary Reeves) of Cuba. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and many, many friends.
