He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sommo and Florence Rafaela Sommo; his parents-in-law, George Sousa and Barbara Jean Sousa; his sister Mary Anne Tegtmeier; and his daughter Michelle Sommo.
He is survived by: his wife Reba Sousa-Sommo of Cuba, MO; his children, George Sommo of Hawaii, Beniamino Sousa-Sommo (Kelly Pinnell) of Leasburg, MO, Leialoha Sousa-Sommo (Cameron Sanders) of Alaska and Rafael Sousa-Sommo (Andi Gaither) of St. Louis, MO; his stepdaughters, Christine Janes (Ethan) of California and Liza Feldkamp (Eric) of Texas; his grandchildren, Julia Sousa-Sommo, Amelia Sousa-Sommo, Misty Sommo, Ian Sommo and William Sommo; his stepgrandchildren, Paolo Feldkamp and Savannah Janes; his brother John Sommo (Peggy) of Maine; and his brothers-in-law, George Sousa (Sharon) of California, David Sousa (Christine) of California and John Tegtmeier of New York. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Memorials may be given to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
