The passing of Audrey M. Hayes of Cuba, Missouri, born in Pomona, Missouri leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 102. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Hugh Cover and Louia Cover (Pitman); and her husband Henry L. Hayes. She is survived by: her friends, Johnny and Lucille Giles; her children, Ann Branson (Gary) of Cuba and Dr. David Hayes (Sharonne) of Rochester, MN; her grandchildren, Jeff Branson (Christi) of St. Charles, Vickie Wacker (Michael) of Lake Elmo, MN, Andrew Hayes of San Francisco and Sarah Addicks (Ben) of Woodbury, MN; her great grandchildren, Audrey Branson, Alexa Branson, Henry Addicks and Helen Addicks; and her sister-in-law Deana Cover of Kansas City. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Mizell Funeral Home (904 W Washington St, Cuba, MO 65453). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:45 PM at the Kinder Cemetery.
In honor of her legacy, the family suggests memorials be made to Dry Creek Baptist Church, 600 Bray Dr. Willow Springs, Missouri 65793.
