She was predeceased by: her parents, James Ivory Bowen and Lottie Mae Bowen (Lawson); her husband Wayne; and her siblings, Myrtle Kean, Ruby Anderson, Lilly Baker, Deloris Dodson, Ruth Wilkinson, Ernie and Willie Bowen.
She is survived by: her daughter Lisa Peebles of Crystal City, Missouri; her stepdaughter Janice (Ken Godier) of Festus, Missouri; her siblings, Edna LaChance of Bismarck, Loretta DeClue of Potosi, Missouri and Ivory "Buddy" Bowen of Potosi, Missouri; and her grandsons, Matt and Doug. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association in her memory.
