He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Beard and Gertrude Beard (Puterbaugh); his wife Bonnie Beard (Glover); and his siblings, Everett Beard, Jr., Eugene Beard, Sharon Wernecker and Karen Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Craig A. Beard of Miami, FL and Tracy Zoll (Steve) of Fenton, MO; his brother James Beard (Pat) of Raymore, MO; and his granddaughters, Hannah and Jessica Zoll.
