He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Mirtha Gilstrap and Alton Gilstrap; his wife Dorothy Gilstrap (Fincher); his sister Beverly Beatty; his children, Donald Gilstrap (Dawn), Theresa Lewellyn, Michael Gilstrap (Jean), Debbie Stogner (Brandon) and Gerald Shaw; his nephew Frank Foster (Connie); his grandchildren, Christina Lanning (Earl), Travis Gilstrap (Jeannie), Kelsey Deaton, Melissa Gilstrap, Raeanna Gilstrap, Garrett Shaw, Madison Wooley, Grant Wooley and Tawnya Settle; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Peyton, Audree, Maddy, Logan, Kyler and Josh. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews.
