He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Earl and Evelyn Aleen Kinsley (Johnson); and his brother Albert Charles Kinsley. He is survived by: his siblings, James Kinsley (Erlinda), Bill Kinsley (Kim), Robert Kinsley (Nila), Raymond Kinsley (Han), Harvey Kinsley (Theresa) and Victoria Kinsley; his sister-in-law Marilyn Kinsley; and his close friends, Jeff Skaggs and Calvin Penland. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
