He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Ellis and Rosemary Lane (Skinner). He is survived by: his brother Daniel; his sister-in-law Barbara Lane of Dixon; his girlfriend Rebecca Lane; his nephews, Brian Lane of Dixon, Matthew Lane of Dixon and Nathan Lane; and his niece Sarah Cain of Rolla. He is also survived by uncles; aunts and many other relatives and friends.
