It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cecil E. Penland of Crocker, Missouri, who passed away on June 21, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Alvah and Alta Elizabeth Penland (Caldwell); and his siblings, Geraldine Penland, Gene Penland, Ruth George, George Penland, Don Penland, Leamon Penland, Ewell Penland, Will Penland, Telia Huning and Velma Penland.
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Porter (Eric Schwandt), Randy Penland (Donna), Summit and Larry Penland; his grandchildren, Shannon Porter (Dave Hesford), Tim Penland (Lauren), Andy Penland (Hannah), Sophie Penland, Zach Penland and Amanda Penland; his great grandchildren, Makayla, Megan, Sam, Luke and Violet; and his sisters, Nora Marshall and Yvonne Chesley. He is also survived by many other friends and relatives.
Memorials are suggested by the family to the Crocker Christian Church with envelopes available at the church or the office of the Long-Kloeppel Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Crocker.
