Darrel left this world on March 14, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Withnell and Freda Withnell Sr. (Planchon); his wife Barbara Gilbert; and his siblings, Glen Withnell and Ollie Ann Danley.
He is survived by: his stepdaughter Jennifer Minnich; and his siblings, Norman Withnell of Monett, Leland Withnell Jr. of Kansas, Lace Withnell of Monett, Missouri, Nancy Armstrong of Sarcoxie, Beulah Walters of Cassville, Freda Marie Talley of Washington State, Helen Wink of Aurora and Sarah.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery (5201 S Southwood Rd, Springfield, MO 65804).
