It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vinson Lee Morris (Cottleville, Missouri), born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Morris and Sylvia Lenora Richards Morris; his brother Lundahl Morris (Virginia); and his brothers-in-law, Wayne Hale and Ken Wolf.
He is survived by: his significant other Wanita Ann Pfeiffer Morris; his son Shawn Lee Morris; his daughter-in-law Melissa Stewart; his brother Bill Morris (Hilda); his sister-in-law Alice Pfeiffer Hale Wolf; his grandson Sean (Jessica); and his great grandchildren, Camilla and Moira. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. John's United Church of Christ.
