He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Maurer and Dorothy Maurer; and his brothers, Stephen and Ricky Maurer. He is survived by: his wife Donna Maurer; his children, Ian Maurer (Amy), Christopher Maurer (Candice), Thomas Maurer and Daniel Maurer; his granddaughters, Anna and Lila Maurer; and his brother Bruce Maurer (Joyce).

Memorial donations may be made in Clark's honor to the American Cancer Society.
