He was predeceased by: his parents, Phillip Rickwartz and Elsie Rickwartz (Nee Bauer). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Rickwartz (Nee Earl); his daughters, Heather Sessions (Chad), Aimee Anderson (Jared) and Martha Deckard (Randy); his grandchildren, Bailey Klaus, Kristyn Smart (David), Katelyn Louis, Anthony Sessions (Sean), Austin Louis, Jacob Grimshaw, Cole Grimshaw and Ryan Anderson; and his great grandchildren, Olivia McNamara, Palmer Smart, Zena Sessions, Addie Sessions and Layla Sessions.

Memorial donations may be made in Carl's name to Shriner's Hospital for Children.
