He was predeceased by: his parents, Erich Bodenhausen and Nellie Bodenhausen (Osche); his grandson Andrew "Drew" Bodenhausen; and his siblings, Norman, Estel and Beverly.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Sommer; his sons, David Bodenhausen (Debbie), Galen Bodenhausen (Robin) and Brian Bodenhausen (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Brandon Bodenhausen (Kelli), Stephen Bodenhausen (Ruth), Patrick Bodenhausen (Ashley), Erich Bodenhausen (Andrea), Chase Bodenhausen (Holly), Justin Bodenhausen (Abby), Bethany Frisbie (Jason), Luke Bodenhausen, Seth Bodenhausen (Gina) and Arielle Bodenhausen. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; extended friends.
