Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Carole Beard of Corder, Missouri, born in Herculaneum, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 80, on December 14, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Portell and Clara Mahnken (Carroll); her husband Thomas Beard Sr.; her son Thomas Beard Jr.; her grandchildren, Christian Beard and Kassie Beard; and her brothers, Kenny Portell and Danny Portell.

She is survived by: her children, Steven Beard of Higginsville, MO and Treasa Stockwell (Ralph) of La Monte, MO; her siblings, Kay Flynn of Higginsville, Robert Portell (Elsie) of Higginsville and Donnie Portell of Plattsburg; and her grandchildren, Eric Beard, Brian Beard (Kristen), Tim Beard, Tiffany Beard, Mark Beard (Crystal), Sease Beard, Thomas Beard III and Jayce Reynolds. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
