It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Smith of Cook Station, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 4, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Janet Sue Riepl Smith; his children, Greg Smith (Kitty) of Cook Station, MO, Stacy Brunner (Chris) of Kansas City, MO and Catie Knoerle (Brian) of St. Louis, MO; his grandchildren, Kelsy Decker (Brian) of St. Louis, MO, Jake Lybarger of Kansas City, MO, Nick Lybarger of Kansas City, MO, Grace Lybarger of Gunnison, CO, Luke Knoerle of St. Louis, MO and Austin Knoerle of St. Louis, MO; his great grandchildren, Hannah Decker of St. Louis, MO and Joshua Otto Decker of St. Louis, MO; his brother Timothy Smith of St. Louis, MO; his brother-in-law Gary Riepl (Barb) of St. Louis, MO; and his nieces and nephews, Denise Farnsworth of St. Louis, MO, Susan Moreno (John) of St. Louis, MO, Lonnie Farnsworth of St. Louis, MO, John Riepl of St. Louis, MO and David Riepl (Betsy) of St. Louis, MO. He is also survived by other relatives, cousins, and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to either St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Hospitals for Children – St. Louis.
