He was predeceased by: his parents, Fillmore J. Werths and Edna Heaper Werths; his sons, Danny Dean and David DeWayne Werths; and his sisters, Mildred "Toodie", Ledrue "Whitey" Moehlman, Barbara "Barbie" and Chipper Wynne.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Werths; his children, Susan Reeves of Concordia, Steven Werths (Jenny) of Florida, Tracey Werths (Pamela) of Concordia and Travis Werths (Elisa) of Odessa, MO; his daughters-in-law, Robin Werths of Windsor, MO and Cynthia Werths of Sedalia, MO; and his grandchildren, Jaime Breshears (Byron), Jordan Merrell, Davin Werths (Ashley), Jason Lamb (Brianna), Kelli Grisanti (Rojo), BrieAnn Rehmsmeyer (John Michael), Stephanie Werths, Shailie Cook (Justin), Paige Wood, Collin Werths (Kyndal) and Austin Werths.
Memorials are suggested to Shriner's Hospital for Children, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or American Cancer Society.
