He was predeceased by: his parents, Gustave Winter and Katherine Winter; and his sisters, Ruth Swanson and Evelyn Smith. He is survived by: his spouse Virginia Eloise Jacobson of Webster Groves, MO.; his children, Cathy Flanagan, David Winter, Diane Winter and Carol Roberson; his grandchildren, John IV, Steven Flanagan, Rebecca Westphal, Andrew, Emily Winter, Conor, Kayla and Kyle Roberson; and his great grandchildren, Helena Westphal, Julia Westphal, John Westphal, Flanagan Westphal and Aiden Westphal.
