She was predeceased by: her parents, John Matthews and Laura Matthews (Bargfrede); her husband Ervin Martens of Concordia; and her brother Orville Matthews of Alma, MO.. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Martens (Bonnie) of Blue Springs, MO and Patrick Martens (Susan) of Concordia, MO; her siblings, Barbara Sander (Edward) of Alma, MO and Mark Matthews (Carolyn) of Lincoln, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Alleen Matthews of Alma, MO and Ellen Muth of Illinois. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
