He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James E. Caldwell and Betty Jean Cash Caldwell; his sons, Darin Ray Caldwell of Concordia, Jason William Caldwell (Jennie) of Collins and Landy Edward Caldwell (Jourdan) of Springfield; and his siblings, Donna A. Heins (Adolf) of Blackburn, Sonny Caldwell and Paul Caldwell. He was also cherished by other extended family and friends.
