He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dittmer and Mabel Dittmer (Wehrs); his brothers, Willard Dittmer, Joe Dittmer and Charles Dittmer; and his wife Tricia.
He is survived by: his former wife Patricia Anne Baldwin; his siblings, Phyllis Heermann, Janice Holsten, Mary Nierman, David Dittmer and John Michael Dittmer; his children, Andrea Gillit (Les Gillit) of Lubbock, TX, Troy Brown (Angie Brown) of Concordia, Eric Brown (Jim Sinclair) of St. Louis, Joel Dittmer (Maggie Dittmer) of Columbia and Rebekah Martin (Tom Martin) of Kansas City; and his grandchildren, Carter, Hayden, Quinten, Ella, Liam, Eila and Jubilee.
