He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Scott and Vival Scott (Stevens); his wife Reba Scott (Rutherford); his daughters, Vicki Stephens and Lela Maston; his siblings, John Forrest Scott, Ruth Skidmore, Mary Nell Rebeiro, Ester Scott and Ellsie Lee Scott; and his granddaughter Tiffany Scott.
He is survived by: his former wife Georgia Scott (Smith); his close friend Alleen Matthews of Alma, MO; his children, Al Scott (Linda) of Higginsville, MO and Martha Lombardi (Luigi) of Richmond, MO; his brother Lester Scott (Betty) of Patterson, CA; his sister-in-law Malinda Scott-Dahln of Sonoma, CA; and his grandchildren, Chad Dike (Ella), Brenna Siegel (Shawn), Josh Scott (Aubrie), Jeremiah Scott, Teresa Holt (Tim), Bridget England (Andy), Julie Aswald and Michael Hennessey (Pat). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to VFW National Home for Children or Lafayette County Cancer Coalition.
