She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Joseph Fabian and Mary Colette Burger Fabian; her husband Rev. Melvin F. Swan; and her brother-in-law Frank Jones. She is survived by: her children, James A. Swan of Ft. Wayne, IN, Judith A. Wagner (Larry) of Defiance, OH, John A. Swan of Houston, TX, Janet A. Volkmer (William) of Tulsa, OK, Jeffrey A. Swan of Mission, KS and Jean A. Marciak (Brian) of Collinsville, IL; and her siblings, Clarence J. Fabian Jr. (Irene) of Natchitoches, LA, Carole Ciak (Richard) of Hartstown, PA, Claudy Solderberg (Bruce) of Laconte, FL, Christine Jones of Bossier City, LA and Christopher Fabian (Sharon). She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Matthew Lutheran Church or Orphan Grain Train in care of Campbell-Lewis Funeral Home in Concordia.
