He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus McCrary and Marie McCrary (Wiederholt); his in-laws, Rev. Homer and Anna Belle Sharp; his sister Dorothy McCrary; and his siblings-in-law, James Burks, Larry Hunsucker, Roger Anthony and Kathryn Anthony.

He is survived by: his wife Joyce Sharp of Gentry; his siblings, Rose Weathermon and Ronnie McCrary (Billie); his sons, Jerry Allen McCrary (Annaliza), Robert McCrary (Lisa) and Bradley McCrary; his grandchildren, Trevor McCrary (Chelsea), Bryce McCrary, Malyssa Garner (Josh) and Baleigh Carrithers (Josh); his great grandchildren, Karsen Garner, Presleigh and Jaxen Carrithers; and his stepgrandson Carl Ranada. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
