He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie John and Betty Margaret Brant (Whitaker); his son Beau Austin Brant; and his sister DeEtta Henson. He is survived by: his wife Linda Brant of Columbia; his children, Christopher Brant of Macon and Amanda Clark (Keith) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Austin Brant, Reid Brant, Emmie Brant, Daunte Clark and Kumani Clark; his great grandchildren, A. J., Braxton, Lincoln, Leah Jo and Amira Brant; and his sister Regina "Jean" Techau (Larry) of New Cambria, MO. He is also survived by other extended family and in-laws.
Memorials are suggested to the Woodville Baptist Church in Excello or the Cornerstone Church in Macon.
