He was predeceased by: his father Russell Spurling; his stepfather Larry S Mitchell; and his nephew Ethan Spurling. He is survived by: his mother Barbara Ann Mitchell of Mexico, Missouri.; his wife Christine Spurling (Houchins); his daughters, Nicole Wieneman (Jacob) of Shawnee Kansas and Rachel Spurling of Dallas, TX; and his brother Edward Spurling (Linda) of Mexico. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Parker-Millard Funeral Home (12 E Ash St, Columbia, MO 65203). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Parker-Millard Funeral Service & Crematory (12 E Ash St, Columbia, MO 65203).
