She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Sallee and Susie Sallee (Sheets); her husband John Stevens; and her siblings, James Sallee, Fanny Holmes, Tina Sallee and Richard Jr. Sallee.
She is survived by: her daughters, Crystal Stevens Smith (Paul) of Columbia and Catina Stevens of Columbia; her stepson John White; her sister Carrie Wayland of Los Angeles, CA; and her grandchildren, Thomas Stevens, Bryanisha Key, Ja'Renzo Hicks-Stevens and Z'ynisha Hicks-Stevens. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Luke United Methodist Church (204 S 9th St, Columbia, MO 65203). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery - Columbia (1217 Business Loop 70 W, Columbia, MO 65202).
