She was predeceased by: her parents, Shelby Joe Salmon and Rosa Meyer; her father-in-law Kenneth Gay Bennett; and her son Keith Dale Bennett. She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Michael "Mike" Bennett (Kimberly Joy) of Columbia and Kevin Scott Bennett (Dana Elaine) of Fulton; her granddaughter Jessica Hyler of Columbia; her great grandchildren, Kamoni Hyler of Columbia and Claudie Hyler of Columbia; and her sister Nina K. Neckerman (David) of Pilot Grove.
