Rosario Raiti Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rosario Raiti of Columbia, Missouri, born in Rome, New York, who passed away on February 8, 2024 at the age of 75. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Rosario Raiti to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Santo Raiti and Kathryn DeAngelo Raiti; and his sister Kathleen Raiti Murphy. He is survived by: his children, Gene Raiti of Huntsville, MO and Lea Raiti-Belt of Columbia, MO; his grandchildren, Joseph Belt, Alexander Belt, Elizabeth Belt, Kangi Raiti and Cetan Raiti; his siblings, Robert Raiti and Susan Raiti; and his brother-in-law Mike Murphy (Debra Raiti). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He began work at the University Hospital, Columbia, MO in 1980 running the orthopedic surgery department and later the bone and tissue program for the Musculoskeletal Transplant Foundation until he retired due to his health in the early 1990's.
