He was predeceased by: his parents, Taylor Robert Hendren and Mary Frances Hendren (Turner); his brother Thomas Hendren; his son-in-law Billy Acton; and his grandson Hayden Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sister Ida Gash (Hendren); his children, Kristi Phelan, Kari Hallowell, Angela Miller (Corby), Mary Acton and Robert Hendren Jr. (Jacque); his grandchildren, Reagan Strough (Jared), Shawn Miller (Brittany), Kortni Davis (Nick), Kassiti Walters, Steven Hendren, Kolten Phelan and Hunter Acton; and his great grandchildren, Emerson Phelan-Lomas, Gunner Strough, Mason Miller, Bennett Davis, Ayla Walters, Kendrix Walters and Lucas Kline.
