She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Dawson and Gladys Dawson (Wilson); and her brother Thomas. She is survived by: her sister Nancy O'Neil (Rex); her sons, Greg (Melissa), Tim and Mike (Amy); her grandchildren, Rachel, Jessica, Monica, Audrey and Brooks; and her great grandchild Amaya.
