She was predeceased by: her parents, Sammy M. Nichols Sr. and Anna Lee Petty Nichols; her brother Sammy M. Nichols Jr.; her former husband Calvin Elbert; her husband James Melvin Jones; and her grandchildren, Tremaine Jones and Angela Perry.
She is survived by: her sibling Evangelist Missionary Dianna L. Morris; her close friend Jesse Williams; her children, Virginia Gabrielle Radcliffe (Darryl) of Lynwood, IL, Darrin Jones (Tammy) of Columbia, MO and Mia Jones-Corpening (Melvin) of Lebanon, TN.; her grandchildren, Quatonya Collins, Calvin McHenry (Ketoria), Trellis Jones, Kanesha Jennings, Tashauna Purvis (Eric Jr.), Jeremy Jones, Brianna Thompson, Antwon Radcliffe and Jada David; and her great grandchildren, Taylor Collins of Ralph, Perry Jr., Eric "Tre" Purvis III, McKenzie Whitehead, Brantley McHenry, Harmony Jones, Jeremy Jones Jr., Tarryn Jones, Cylas Jones, Addison Purvis, Chase McHenry, Austin G. McHenry, Samantha Green, Sebastian Green and Shawn Green.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke United Methodist Church (204 E Ash St, Columbia, MO 65203). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
