George Chapman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Chapman of Columbia, Missouri, who passed away on January 14, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Chapman and Emily Chapman (Smith); his former wife Lois C. Gibb; his son Don Chapman; his great grandchild Caleb Brodersen; and his siblings, Worthy Danner (Dillard), Benson Chapman (Maxine) and Mary Tull (Leo).
He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean (Davis); his children, Jacque McGee (Mark), Barbara Brodersen (Gary) and Ron Chapman (Beth); his stepdaughter Kathy Beahm (Ed); his grandchildren, Michael McGee (Natalie), John McGee (Jisha), Scott Brodersen (Silva), Kevin Brodersen (Amber), Heather Figueiredo (Phil), Heidi Crouch (Nathan) and Erica Chapman-Hall; his stepgranddaughters, Rachelle Pereira (Antony) and Megan McKay (Sean); his great grandchildren, Devin, Ella, Olivia, Alexa, Blaine, Dylan, Ashton, Parker, Jackson, Addison, Josh and Jaelyn; his stepgrandchildren, Sofia, Liesl, Dylan and Tyler; and his great great grandchildren, Charlotte and Noah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to the College Park SDA Church Building Fund.
