It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Don Gruenewald (Columbia, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 2, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Gruenewald and Viola Gruenewald; and his sister Judy Burch. He is survived by: his wife Jean Borgelt; his daughters, Kate Nolte (Bob) and Kara Gruenewald; his brother Bob Gruenewald (Candy); his brothers-in-law, Frank Burch, Steve Borgelt and Dave Borgelt; and his nieces, Debbie Rivers (Lorin), Brenda Austin, Heather Schwalbe (Patrick) and Lindsay Gruenewald.

Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Missouri United Methodist Church - Columbia (204 S 9th St, Columbia, MO 65201). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
