The memory of Deetra Jeanette Williams (Columbia, Missouri), who passed away on March 28, 2025 at the age of 56, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Gregory Pennington. She is survived by: her mother Sharon Marie Pennington; her husband Gene Williams; her daughters, Charlis Phillips (Jonathan) and Danielle Maurer (Stephen); her siblings, Deonna Moore (Chris), Natasha Lewis (Mechoal) and Denise Young; her grandchildren, Jeremiah Phillips, Isabella Phillips, Naomi Phillips, Gianna Phillips and Elijah Maurer; and her godchildren, Kyla Matthews, Josiah Jones and Ronald Franklin. She is also survived by loving extended family, including many uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, bonus sisters and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Progressive Missionary Baptist Church (702 Banks Ave, Columbia, MO 65203). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Missouri Cancer Associates in Dee's memory.
