He was predeceased by: his parents, Neil Gibbens and Nola Gibbens (Christian); his wife Jean Cox; and his brother Donald. He is survived by: his son Kevin Gibbens (Whitney); and his grandchildren, Joni See (Mike), Kim Gibbens (Montell Justice), Wade Coonce, Katelin Coonce, Brynden Ferriter (Jack), Christian Gibbens, Colin Gibbens (Madison), Samantha See and Chandler Gibbens.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Missouri United Methodist Church - Columbia (204 E Ash St, Columbia, MO 65201).
