He was predeceased by: his mother Shirley Dee Johnson (Roark); his stepfather Ralph Swearngin; his brother Keith DeWayne Johnson; and his grandparents, Arthur, Opal Roark (Cole), Horace and Bessie Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Johnson; his father Sheldon Johnson, Sr. of Sedalia; his sons, Jay Johnson (Amanda), Jimmy Davis (Darby), Brandon Johnson (Jessica) and Keith "Bo" Johnson (Samantha); his sisters, Ronda Johnson Jackson of Sedalia, Pamela Swearngin of Columbia and Melissa Swearngin Howe (Adam); and his grandchildren, Payton, Cameron, Austin, CeAnna, Bryson, Blake, Eva, Keith, Kole, Brayden, Tyler and Rayce. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
