He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H. Baalman and Walburga T. Baalman (Robben); his siblings, Bernice Smith, Ethlyn Nixon, Jean Jacobs and Clifford Baalman; his brothers-in-law, Lee Smith, Casper Jacobs, Clifford Gish and Frank Lesperance; and his nieces, Kathy Lamberts and Roxanne Dowling.
He is survived by: his wife Carol Baalman; his children, J. L. Baalman (Jeana) of Cole Camp, Roian Baalman of Moberly and Jason Baalman (Kristen) of Columbia; his sisters, Lois Gish of Yarba Linda and Mae Jacobs (Gerald) of Plains, Kansas; his brother-in-law John Nixon of Wichita, Kansas; and his grandchildren, Lauren Thomas (Brett), Landon Baalman, Spencer Noone, Hannah Baalman and Liam Baalman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Alzheimer's Association or Wounded Warrior in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, MO 65325.
