It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Harold Ehlers of Cole Camp, Missouri, born in Mora, Missouri, who passed away on October 30, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Gerhard and Frieda Anna Ehlers (Gieschen); his wife Margaret Ehlers; and his brothers, Wilbert, Reno, Elmer, Robert, Walter and Harry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathryn Coit (Ben) of Prescott Valley and Sharon Steffens (Randy) of Cole Camp; his grandchildren, Erinne Coit (Philip Weaver) of Portland, Glen Coit (Heidi) of Peoria, Shaun Coit of Milliken, Ryan Steffens of Cole Camp and Jill Steffens of Sedalia; and his great grandchildren, Ada Weaver, Helaina Coit and Sylvia Weaver.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Holy Cross Lutheran Church in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, Missouri 65325.
