He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Katherine Heisterberg (Meier) and Fred Heisterberg; his siblings, Esther Worden, Thelma Brockman, Helen Bauer, Evelyn Steffens, Erna Heisterberg, Olaf Heisterberg and Marcus Heisterberg; and his granddaughter Katherine Kreisel.
He is survived by: his significant other Gene Beckman; his children, Gail Dieckmann (Ron), Wanda Meyer (Randal), Tina Sutherland of Sedalia and David Heisterberg (Jackie); his brother Leroy Heisterberg of Shawnee, Kansas; his sister-in-law Edna Heisterberg of Cole Camp; his grandchildren, John Heisterberg, Clara Acra, Jennifer Kreisel, Todd Kreisel, Bridget Dieckman, Justin Meyer, Audrey Abey, Madeleine Sutherland and Anna Sutherland; and his great grandchildren, Colton, Wesley, Michaela, Jessica, Jason, Andrea, Melanie, Blake, Zackary and Sophia.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Trinity Endowment Education Assistance Fund, The Lutheran Hour, or Lutheran School Association in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, MO 65325.
