It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Haldor Gerald Barnes of Cole Camp, Missouri, born in Huxley, Iowa, who passed away on November 28, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Opal Barnes (Tweedt) and Haldor M. Barnes; his brothers, David Barnes and Ronnie Barnes; and his niece Beverly Joyce Barnes.
He is survived by: his siblings, Geraldine Heimsoth (Arthur) of Cole Camp, June Lueckert of Kearney, Annette Heimsoth (Kenneth) of Cole Camp, James Barnes (Patricia) of Mora and Dennis Barnes of Cole Camp; and his nephews, Tony Heimsoth, Tim Heimsoth, Jeffrey Barnes, Jimmie Barnes, Rick Lueckert and Greg Lueckert. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg or St. John's New Cemetery Fund in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, MO 65325.
