It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elroy Melvin VonHolten of Cole Camp, Missouri, born in Mora, Missouri, who passed away on July 11, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alwin VonHolten and Lydia VonHolten (Meyer); his former wife Orleen VonHolten; and his sister Evelyn Goosen. He is survived by: his former wives, Norma Jean Shoemaker and Judith Hamilton (Wilmot); his family, Kathy, Steve, Matt and Mike; his wife Judie VonHolten; his stepchildren, Kathy Oelrichs (Tom) of Mora, Steve Hamilton of Jefferson City, Matt Hamilton (Isabele) of Ozark and Mike Hamilton (Denise) of Columbia; and his children, Terri Greufe (Steve) of Raymore, Larry VonHolten (Pat) of Springfield and Kennie VonHolten of Cole Camp. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be given to Oaks Indian Mission in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, Missouri 65325.
