He was predeceased by: his mother Katherine Rose Hallauer (Walz); his former spouse Charmane Berta Ortiga; his father John Hallauer; his son Dennis Mark Hallauer; and his siblings, Doris Musick, Mildred Statham, Joe Hallauer and Robert "Bob" Hallauer.
He is survived by: his former spouse N. Jean Stockwell; his son Donald Michael; his wife Katherine Hallauer; his sons, Michael Hallauer of Houston Lake and David Hallauer (Sandra) of Kansas City; and his grandchildren, Crystal Basdeo, Ben Hallauer, Nick Hallauer, Nathan Hallauer, Angel Hallauer, Chris Hallauer, Denise Hallauer, Michelle Thomas, Trenton Hallauer, Andy Stone, Amy Diaz-Cruz and Adam Stone. He is also survived by twenty-one great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
