It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Hartley Viles of Cole Camp, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on February 7, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Grayson Eric Viles and Elsie Laverne Viles (Jones); his wife Marilyn Ilene Smith; and his siblings, Grayson "Buddy" Earl Viles and Mary Elizabeth Sullivan.
He is survived by: his children, Susie Kay Ricker (Randy) of Sedalia, David Warren Viles of Sedalia, Deborah Irene Wood (Brian) of Sedalia, Stephen Hartley Viles of Stockton, MO and Kevin Lee Viles (Keri) of Papillion, NE; his grandchildren, Renee', Sara, Shauna, Amanda, Josie, Megan, Leah, Austin, John of Katie, T. J. and Heather; and his sisters, Marilyn Cockrum of Warrensburg, MO and Nancy Dunaway (Richard) of Omaha, NE. He is also survived by eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.
Family and friends may make memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
