He was predeceased by: his parents, JB Mikel and Belvie Mikel (Abernathy); and his siblings, Billy, Ivan, Robert, Leroy Mikel, Ruby Taylor, Laura Mae Rutledge and Agnes Ormsby.
He is survived by: his wife Retha; his children, Patrick Dean Williams, Kenneth Walsh (Brenda) of St. Louis, MO, Charles Glenn Mikel of Piedmont, MO, Denise Holtz (Roger) of Pola, KS, Branda King (David) of Springfield, MO, Judy Mikel of Kansas City, MO, Tina Mikel (Mike) of Kansas City, MO and Myretha Wheetley (William) of Clubb, MO; and his siblings-in-law, Dale Taylor of Warrenton, MO and Waldine Mikel of St. Louis. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 24 Great- grandchildren and 1 more great-grandchild.
