He was predeceased by: his brother Willard Van Oster. He is survived by: his wife Lyndia Van Oster; his children, Steve Van Oster, Chris Chambers, Mike Chambers, Sherry Rapp and Nikki Branscum; and his sisters, Joyce Murphy, Wilda Yoachum and Gail Heistand. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital and can be left in care of the funeral home.
