He was predeceased by: his parents, John Franklin Smith and Lydia Smith (Sites); his wife Elizabeth; and his brother Don Smith. He is survived by: his children, Stephen Smith (Cheryl) and Karen Conner (Ed); his grandchildren, Jennifer Sierks (Kevin), Julia Klinefelter (Mike), Dale Conner (Brecklyn), Stacey Lankard (Brian), Stephanie Powell (Chris) and Chris Smith (Janet); and his brother Dale Smith (Dana). He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great-grandchildren.
The family suggest memorial contributions to the Norris Cemetery or the Hendricks Cemetery, and these donations may be left in care of the funeral home.
