She was predeceased by: her parents, Wes McGhee and Minnie Rutledge McGhee (Rutledge); her husbands, James C Hampton, Alva Glover and John Cole; her son Ricky Hampton; her son-in-law John Starling; her grandson Anthony Shawn Cowsert; her siblings, James Jim McGhee, Thurman McGhee, Pearl McGhee, Charlie McGhee and Lillian Dovie Thompson; and her significant other Weldon Tyler.
She is survived by: her children, Brenda Starling, Rita Glascock and A. Bruce Glover; her grandchildren, Thomas Williams, Rebekah Mount, Matthew Williams, James Jay Hampton, Christopher Hampton, Jeff Hampton, Jonathan Cowsert, Colby Cowsert, Melissa Moore and Breanna Glover; and her sister Vada Foster (McGhee).
