Velma Stephens Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Stephens of Clinton, Missouri, who passed away on November 4, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Simpson and Muriel Simpson; and her siblings, Glen, Roy, Don Simpson and Wilma Jones.

She is survived by: her former husband Richard Crump; her husband Bill Stephens; her children, Sara Elizabeth "Beth" Matthews, Jerry Crump (Carla) and Gary Crump (Joyce); her stepsons, Mike Stephens and Keith Stephens (Alaina); her son-in-law Chuck Matthews; and her grandchildren, Jason Crump, Justin Crump, Jerod Crump, Josh Crump, Holly Morris, Ashley Simpson, Lindsey Matthews, Sheri Barnard and Tammi Howard. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and a host of friends and relatives.
