He was predeceased by: his parents, William Vaughn Snelling and Ursula B. Snelling (Galloway); his wife Thelma Jean Quigley; his sister Nancy Snelling Nichols; and his nephews, Duane Nichols, Daniel Nichols and Raymond Parmalee.
He is survived by: his children, Debra K. Carr (Calvin) and Tony L. Massey Sedalia (Helen); his grandchildren, Christopher Soard, Nicholas Soard, Anthony Massey and Jessica Price; and his sister Gladys Parmalee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
